Lujan Grisham Staff to hold 2nd Warrior Workshop for Veterans on Monday

ALBUQUERQUE – January 11, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Congresswoman Michelle Lujan Grisham’s Office will host a “Warrior Workshop” on Monday for all Veterans to receive assistance with disability claims, the VA Medical Center, Choice Program, GI Bill, VA home loan and any other assistance that can be provided.

The workshops are held each month in various locations around the Congressional District. The goal is to provide an opportunity for veterans to visit with other veterans and bring issues to the attention of the Congresswoman’s staff. Veterans are encouraged to wear hats, shirts, and other clothing that tell us about their service.

“We want this to be a casual environment where veterans feel comfortable to come and visit, share a cup of coffee, and if they need assistance, our staff is ready to help them,” Rep. Lujan Grisham said.

The January workshop will be held on Monday, Jan. 11, in the South Valley at the Bernalillo County Sheriff South Area Command Center, 2039 Isleta S.W.
