Lujan Grisham Staff to Hold Warrior’s Workshop for Veterans on Monday

WASHINGTON, D.C. – December 07, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — In honor of the 74th anniversary of Pearl Harbor, Congresswoman Michelle Lujan Grisham’s Office will host a “Warrior’s Workshop” on Monday for all Veterans to receive assistance with disability claims, the VA Medical Center, Choice Program, GI Bill, VA home loan and any other assistance that can be provided.

The workshop, which will be held each month in various locations around the Congressional District, is an opportunity for veterans to visit with other veterans and bring issues to the attention of the Congresswoman’s staff. Veterans are encouraged to wear hats, shirts, and other clothing that tell us about their service.

“We want this to be a casual environment where veterans feel comfortable to come and visit, share a cup of coffee, and if they need assistance, our staff is ready to help them,” Rep. Lujan Grisham said.

The workshop will be held on Monday, December 7, at the Simms Building, 400 Gold Avenue, SW, 5th Floor Conference Room from 1 to 6 p.m. There will be signs in the lobby.
