Canyon Gate Real Estate Services’ Vice President Kim Corcoran Named to APCM Board of Directors
Albuquerque, NM – September 23, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Canyon Gate Real Estate Services, an Associa company, is pleased to announce Vice President Kim Corcoran was recently elected to the Association of Professional Community Managers (APCM) Board of Directors.
“This is a tremendous achievement and we are very proud of Kim,” said Canyon Gate Real Estate Services President and CEO Roger Kinney. “Her commitment to continuing education and professional advancement is a great asset to both Canyon Gate and the communities we manage.”
APCM Board members give input on policy matters to CAI’s Board of Trustees, elect manager members for seats on CAI’s Board of Trustees and make recommendations to the Nominating Committee regarding at-large seats on CAI’s Board of Trustees. The group also makes recommendations on education curriculum, designations and best practices, while providing other input and recommendations as requested by the CAI Staff. Members shall serve two year terms and may not serve more than six years total.
Corcoran has been with Canyon Gate for more than five years and as Vice President supervises all facets of the management division, while also maintaining a diverse portfolio of communities. She has earned the CMCA, AMS and PCAM designations and is an active member of CAI.
Corcoran currently serves as the Chapter Executive Director for the CAI – New Mexico Chapter in Organization and will begin her term on the APCM Board starting January 1, 2012. She grew up in Ohio and moved to Albuquerque in 2005. Corcoran obtained her bachelor’s degree from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
